This is a nice polo. My guy tries to only wear natural fabrics so I chose this for him. He likes it. His normal size - L - is exactly the right size for him. It looks a little big out the the package, but I wash everything before we wear it, so I dried this all the way the first time [I usually let them air dry the last +/-10% to preserve the fabric/color and prevent shrinking]. It looks like this shirt might have shrunk up to 5% from it's original size since the dry-drier and the size is now a perfect fit for a large [maybe the sleeves might need a little pulling after the next wash].
I was a bit concerned by the texture at first because the weave on the outer-surface of the shirt is very 'waffle-y' and it seems like it would be scratchy. But the inside has a kind of fleece weave to it - very soft next to the skin. My guy says the texture on the outer surface is to hold the warm air in all the tiny waffles if you are wearing a coat, and to let the air escape if you are not. So the bottom line is he likes it and is totally pleased.
If you're looking for an all-cotton, long-sleeve polo, this will not let you down. It's just a polo, so only four stars - I'm not sure what it would take to give a polo shirt 5 stars - maybe if it had an ipod pocket or something crazay I could give it five stars. Lolz. But for the price, I doubt you could beat this quality, and since the white color was offered w/ Amazon Prime we got it in 2 days... which always kinda makes me like something more. [Go figure.] For what it is it's darned good. I'd give it 4 & 1/2 stars if they let me.
